this google app finds your museum doppelganger

people say that everyone has a twin and at the top of google‘s priorities is finding yours, well at least if they’ve been included in a noteworthy artwork over the ages. google arts & culture’s latest update now lets you take a selfie, and using image recognition, finds someone in its vast art collection that most resembles you – that’s right, your very own museum doppelganger.

to get results, all you have to do is snap a photo of yourself so be selfie ready (as it wont let you take one from your camera roll) and upload. then, the app will present you and your fine art twin side-by-side, along with a percentage match – something it appears a few have been lucky enough to do already and without the help of modern tech….(see below).
