kwasnycia‘s designs feature different shapes defined by changes in color. typically kept to a limited palette, some pieces mimic the density of green moss while others recall the complexities of coral reefs. each hoop features different stitches and patterns, using various stitch and knot styles as well as differently textured threads including thin, thick, and even three-dimensional fibers.

‘I wanted to create organic natural art,’ the artist wrote in an instagram caption. ‘I didn’t know this would translate into embroidery until about 8 months ago when I decided to give it a try. since I’ve started, I haven’t been able to put my hoop down. I’ve fallen so deeply in love with embroidery.’
