artist and designer hannah waldron designed has designed this illustrative map of edinburgh for the city’s art festival which will begin on august 1st and feature over 45 exhibitions.
in a recent interview with designboom, she told us about the project:
‘I found [it] very challenging because normally my maps are my own interpretation of places, without too much need for accuracy and obviously this map has to be really precise and user friendly – it was good to stretch my brain in that direction. ‘
