heath satow’s 9/11 memorial sculpture consists of nearly 3,000 stainless steel dove / angels welded together that form a pair of hands, which hold up part of an i-beam from one of the world trade center towers.



the winged creatures represent the people killed on september 11, 2001. satow’s memorial was unveiled today in rosemead, you can read more over on the LA times.
