jennifer mehigan created a vibrant combine-media series ‘armed/luminous’. the collection includes found photographs of houses burning which the syndey-based artist then paints over with a layer of beautiful loose brush strokes, mirroring the movement of the lapping flames beneath.
the painting seems to be an extension of the flames captured in the original photographs 
via beautiful decay
