hong kong and london based artist, kachi chan, has directed an epic music video for singer-songwriter olivier cong. created for the song, delusion, the 11 minute video features a surreal alien landscape to complement cong’s ominous yet calming musical style.

the calmness and darkness of olivier cong’s music informs kachi chan‘s direction, as well as the situation of some hongkongers like chan himself. the black and white video features a man running on a surreal, alienated, and deserted landscape. the land is deformed, the ocean is twisted, the world is transformed drastically, and darkness swallows everything. devoid of expression, the man has no way out. he doesn’t know where the destination is, he just knows he has to keep running.
