‘xyz’ by marc ruygrok, 1999 (mdf-wood / lacquer)

while some sculptors use the human form or abstract shapes as their medium, dutch artist marc ruygrok uses letters and words in his typographic works.  since the beginning eighties, letters and words have been the core elements of ruygrok’s monumental, site-specific sculptures.
