on a cold and rainy venetian night, art and fashion came together to celebrate 10 years of collaboration between fondazione nicola trussardi and massimiliano gioni. the 39-year-old gioni is not only the curator of this year’s biennale, but also the artistic director of the art foundation in milan.

the trussardi family welcomed famed guests at tesa 113, a 13th century warehouse in the venetian arsenal. party guests included vogue italia’s franca sozzani, musician loretta grace, zilin luo (miss universe china 2011), actors jessica chastain and leonardo dicaprio, artists damian hirst, martin creed, maurizio cattelan…

the warehouse venue has never before been used for a public event. everything was planned down to the last detail from the décor and lighting to the musical performances, creating the atmosphere of a sophisticated club in 1950s.
