the additional layer of the 8-bit style turns the movie scenes into a arcade game but the gif component provides a multimedia aspect to this campaign for angie’s list, to be harnessed on social media as today’s consumer base increasingly demands an interactive and non-static advertisement. the gifs are meant to showcase not only the scenes from the iconic films, but the unique interior design and floor-plans, emphasizing its importance and role in the film.

neomam’s partner for this project, angie’s list, is a home design firm that is attempting to reach a younger audience amid a flurry of re-boots of movies and shows that take place in the 1980s or carry the time period’s theme, such as the blade runner 2049 film, new star wars movies every six months, and stranger things on netflix.
