the piece is illuminated by fiber optics, with the blanket of objects responding to audience movement through motion sensors that trigger celestial musical motifs. the composition is characteristic of sanpitak’s work, often drawing from the female form and spiritual elements, with ‘anything can break’ focusing more on a conveyed a sense of tranquility and weightlessness, as the title suggests.
