visionaire unveils its latest installation, a bold endeavor entitled BLACK & LIGHT spearheaded by artist oscar oiwa. the immersive project by the japanese-brazilian artist is expressed as an hypnotic, swirling landscape projected onto the interior surface of an inflatable nylon dome. the unlikely canvas, found at the cadillac house gallery in new york, offers more than 2,700 square feet of surface area. interwoven within the surreal and intricate black and white mural are two figural characters, invented by the artist, named ‘light rabbit’ and ‘shadow cat.’ the entire process was publicly live-streamed at the exterior of the dome, introducing a second layer to the immersive visual art.
