ozkar gorgias: 12 years graffiti writing

’12 years graffiti writing’ by ozkar gorgias

with ’12 years graffiti writing’, european street artist and photographer ozkar gorgias documents the sneakers he wore over more than a decade of creating his art.

much of gorgias’s photography documents the work and lives of graffiti artists, bringing him to subways, train tracks, abandoned buildings, and rooftops. with him the entire time, his dirty and paint-splattered sneakers provide another window into his work, imprinted as they are with the traces of each encounter, escape, and project.
