the series of ’60 70 80’s ice cream’ images by italian designer pierluigi veronese depict a graphic restyling of popular ice creams enjoyed in italy. evoking a sense of nostalgia and the simple desires of the summer months, the colorful work has been created using autocad and photoshop, and reminds one of a time without smartphones and technology at the beachside – when the only choice one needed to make was which flavor to choose. among the treats replicated are: spaceships stuffed with juicy flavors, sandwiches filled with cream and chocolate, soft ‘fiordilatte’ covered in cloaks of granules, cherry cornets, strawberry big feet and many other succulent delicacies.
