‘boomeritis’ is an architectural photography series by architect and photographer pygmalion karatzas. named in reference to the post-war baby boomers, the works act as portraits representing the ‘generation characterized by pluralism infected with narcissism’. standing alone, dominating their surroundings, seducing with form, ‘boomeritis’ features contemporary american architecture from new york, boston, chicago, and san francisco. the series is a selection from karatzas’ upcoming book, ‘integral lens – editorial and artistic architectural photography.’
