copenhagen-based studio PUTPUT have captured the summer spirit in an unusual way with their project sponge ‘popsicles’. the artworks are a series of playful, brightly colored re-interpretations of the classic iced treat, however, sandwiching the unlikely medium of scouring pads to bring them to life. from something that represents an activity that is perhaps not so enjoyed,  the collective have managed to create some graphically flamboyant pieces that are a cheerful iteration of something very much loved.
