‘sundead’ by luciano podcaminsky

argentinean artist luciano podcaminsky comments on the harmful nature of a suntanning bed with his project ‘sundead’. the installation is characterized by the identifiable form of a coffin, however the interior is lined with rows of bright glowing lighting, referencing those used in solarium. ‘sundead’ is constructed from felt, polyurethane coating, iron and fluorescent lamps and reflects the unhealthy, and sometimes fatal consequences of vanity.
