the pleasure of: a short film by vituc

film maker vitùc  has just released a new short film entitled ‘the pleasure of’ captured with the help of an iphone 4S and 7D/lens f 1.4 24mm cannon camera. the artist portrays the ‘…simple things of everyday life’ flitting across screen in clips lasting no longer than a few seconds in order for the viewer to experience brief moments of satisfaction or awareness of surroundings through his perspective. instances featured in the short include a melting ice cream cone, watching a nearby insect, opening closed shutters to a sunny day, being submerged in water, the crackle of burning wood, the cooling breeze of a fan, or taking a bite from a slice of watermelon. vitùc, who resides in both luxembourg and italy, has sewn together collection of seemingly unremarkable points in time in an unpresumptuously nostalgic compilation of the often overlooked moments which help to inform our lives.
