‘tsang kin-wah has just sent us some photos of his latest show ‘what are you looking at?’, which is currently on at the chinese arts centre in manchester, UK. the exhibition features two installations: ‘I love you more than anything else in the whole world and I would never do anything to hurt you…’ and ‘I love U’.’

‘I love you more than anything else in the whole world and I would never do anything to hurt you…’ 2008
is an installation mainly based on my interest in ‘the shining’ by stanley kubrick and tragedies like the vienna cellar
rapist. it talks about the hidden danger and violence in our environment and even our familiar places and closest
people like our home and parents.’

‘I wrote some texts based on the theme and directly cut them out from some clear glossy vinyl which is stuck on
the walls. also, I took and edited some sounds from the film and play it inside the space, which is almost dark and
seems empty.‘
