street bollards transformed into playful yellow cyclopes

while walking down the streets of france, le cyklop locates the bollards he’s interested in transforming and then spray paints them in bright yellow. the look is finished off with the help of different stickers, adding facial features to the LEGO-inspired pieces. although this urban art project is called ‘angry L’éGO’, many figures are surprised, confused, or even joyful, catching passers-by’s attention in every way possible.

staying true to his name, the artist draws from the history of the cyclops and greek mythology to create one-eyed  characters only. ‘in my work, I try to break free from conventional supports such as walls or canvas, to invest in objects. by putting an eye on them, I try to bring them to life, give them a soul and give birth to a form of fantasy,’ le cyklop shares.
