based on the idea that ‘art is everywhere’ spanish artist victoria campillo has created this series in barcelona. the project matches cover images on credit cards to well known artists, connecting the two disparate elements into one piece. the different cards are all real, with the artist’s name featuring on the front, making it surprisingly obvious to connect the two together.
‘I work with associations of objects that do not belong to the world of art and relate them to contemporary artists.’ says victoria campillo.
