hello chelsart introduces a series of artworks made entirely of seedpods collected from all over australia, finished with acrylic paint. the project sought to highlight the hidden beauty of nature that often comes from unusual and neglected places. each piece features an original design as every seedpod has a unique shape and texture, while the artist covers them with a different color and pattern.vivid seedpod artwork series highlights the hidden beauty of natureall images courtesy of studio bitsy

through this work, the artist named chelsea baker, revealed her passion for seedpods and turned them into original designs, ‘co-creating with nature’ as she calls it. her ‘canvas’ is nature’s by-product; the artist utilizes the seedpods that are discarded husks that once protected the seeds inside. this way, she avoids wasting materials, even if an artwork doesn’t work out, chelsea discards it into the garden, or organic waste bin letting it break down.
