the yokohama triennale is japan’s largest international contemporary art exhibition with over 70 artists’ work on show. alongside the artists, four young international architects will be participating and displaying their projects including minsuk cho (mass studies), didier fiúza faustino, akihisa hirata and ryue nishizawa (sanaa).

minsuk cho is one of korea’s internationally acclaimed architects. for the yokohama triennale, he will be installing two of his ‘ring domes’ on the waterfront of yokohama. the dome first made a sensation when it was shown at milan’s galleria vittorio emanuele during the 2008 salone.
