Sofia Lekka Angelopoulou is designboom’s Editor-in-Chief, and is currently based between Paris, France, and Athens, Greece.

After Architecture studies and work experiences in London, Rotterdam and Amsterdam, Sofia moved to Milan to join designboom in 2018. Since then, she has held editorial positions of increasing responsibility before being appointed Editor-in-Chief in early 2023. Sofia is currently leading designboom’s editorial calendar and daily content production, while representing the magazine in key exhibitions and events, panel discussions, competition juries, and other activities across the world.
