comme des garçons and apple corps (the london-based company which manages the beatles legacy
and musical catalogue)have teamed up to produce a collection of ten bags to be released in
spring 2010.

divided into two series of luxury travel bags, one includes embossed monochrome designs and the
other a selection of printed PVC bags. apple corps’ only request was that no leather be used
given sir paul mccartney’s advocacy towards animal rights and vegetarianism. the graphics,
consisting of apples and polka dots were designed by rei kawkubo, the designer behind
comme des garçons.

alongside the bags are also a selection of shirts and t-shirts which are also a result of the collaboration.
prices range from 115 USD for a t-shirt to 860 USD for the most expensive bag.
