New Design - New Development - New Pattern
The Guangdong Governor Cup Industrial Design Competition is one of the earliest and most influential industrial design competitions organized by local governments in China. The competition has been a driving force for the transformation of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area's economy and upgrading its manufacturing industries. In the spirit of seeking international innovation and collaboration, the 11th "Governor Cup" Industrial Design Competition is now inviting global talents to participate in its Overseas and Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan division.
Tongji University College of Design and Innovation (D&I) has always been on the commitments to sustainable development, social innovation and international collaborations. To attract outstanding talents and works worldwide to contribute to the development of China and promote the advancement of the global design industry, D&I will support this competition and encourage insightful designers to join the event. The final top 10% design works from the Overseas and Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan division will directly advance to the semi-final round to compete for the final prizes (millions of RMB).
Beyond the competition awards, D&I will recommend the top 30% from the Overseas and Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan division to participate in the 2022 Pan-Tongji Design Week Exhibition in Shanghai and other international events. Each participant will receive a certificate of honour from D&I.
