OSAKA DESIGN FUTURE is a design event held in the largest city in western Japan -- Osaka -- that seeks to promote the future of japanese design to the world. the event held at the commercial complex 'GRAND FRONT OSAKA' and other venues is organized in collaboration with DESIGN WEEK. We focus on young designers who will be active in the design industry, and plan to develop this project through an international design competition. 'GRAND FRONT OSAKA' opened in 2013 in the Kita-ku, Umeda area of Osaka City. It was named for our hope to be at the forefront of international cities open to the world over the next decades.
