Competition Theme: Design for a Changing World – Bridging Cultures
Objective: Reinterpret Arab cultural heritage through the lens of contemporary design, creating functional and production-ready pieces.
Who Can Apply:
-Open to all ages
-Open to all nationalities
-Individuals or teams (up to 3 members)
Design Categories:
-Seating: Chairs, stools, benches
-Tables: Coffee tables, side tables, accent tables, consoles
-Storage: Small cabinets, modular units, storage boxes
-Lighting: Floor and table lamps
Design Requirements:
-Must reflect Arab cultural narratives through material, form, or function
-Should be sustainable, innovative, and feasible for production
-Must include technical drawings, 3D renderings, and a concept statement
