The NYCxDESIGN Awards, presented by Interior Design magazine and ICFF, honors outstanding products and projects in categories that span major areas of design, from architecture to interiors, from products to accessories.

Winners of the 2020 NYCxDESIGN Awards are featured in Interior Design magazine and on an online gallery on interiordesign.net; promoted to Interior Design’s digital audience of 9+ million; honored at the NYCxDESIGN Awards ceremony in NYC; recipients of a coveted award designed by MakerSpace NYC, and provided with official digital assets and seals for use on all marketing materials.
Projects located in any of New York City’s five boroughs (Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Staten Island, Queens) completed between April 2019 and April 2020. Incomplete projects are eligible for submission to On the Boards category.
Projects from domestics and international firms are welcome.
Products shown in New York City based showrooms, design centers, studios or temporary installations between April 2019-May 2020 or products shown at 2020 NYCxDESIGN affiliated events and shows (ICFF, WantedDesign, and other shows).
The 2020 entries will be judged by a panel of design luminaries: Julio Braga of Interior Architects, Cheryl Durst of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), Russell Groves of Groves & Co., Peter Marino of Peter Marino Architects, Carlos Martinez of Gensler, Deborah Marton of Van Alen Institute, Lionel Ohayon of ICRAVE, Alison Rose of Alison Rose NY, Wisse Trooster of Qoowl, Lori Weitzner of Lori Weitzner Design, and Clive Wilkinson of Clive Wilkinson Architects.
