Posterheroes: Humans at work, visual and social communication poster contest, at its 9th edition, promoted by PLUG Association and FAVINI, with an international selection panel.

▸ BRIEF

The world of work, in recent decades has undergone a very rapid transformative process and it has been influenced, on a global level, by a wide range of factors, with specific consequences in different territorial areas. The organizers of the contest invite the international creative community to express its message on the main implications of work: potentiality and risks of technology, works-life balance and smart working, fair and decent work and non-discriminating policies, environmental and social sustainability and economic migrations.
Especially during these weeks of social and political changements, due to the global health emergency, it’s important to start a positive dialogue on the possible choices about work and education, considering both tools and models.

▸ OVERVIEW

Posterheroes keeps encouraging a positive reflection, giving value to social sustainability and inviting professional graphic designers and aspiring ones to consider it as a resource for building the communities of the future. The competition aims at promoting graphic design as a significant tool amplifying the potentialities of communication and stimulating a productive debate on international social issues which are affecting the future scenario.

▸ SUBMISSIONS

Creatives can express their message through a 70x100 cm poster.

After reading the regulation and the brief on www.posterheroes.org, participants have the chance to upload their posters (at maximum 3 submissions) on the contest official website by April 10th, 2020. There is no submission fees.

▸ JURORS AND PRIZE

An international selection panel, composed by some of the most relevant professionals and artists of the visual communication field: Fernando Cobelo - Francesco Poroli - Petra Eriksson - Marco Oggian - Forma - Matteo Riva - Ngadi Smart - Valerie Crosswhite, Poster House - Sha Feng - Stefano Rivolta, Futurebrand Milan - Playtype - Hoppypolla - Typosters.

Best 40 posters, selected by the jurors, will become part of exhibitions, events and editorial projects curated by PLUG Association. The organizers will choose the first classified, who will win a cash prize of 2.500 €.
