At IED Torino, the two-year Master of Arts in Interaction Design invites students to rethink how they engage with technology, combining emerging tools with a human-centered perspective. The program trains designers to navigate the complexity of digital transformation by blending technical skills with deep empathy for users and real-world contexts.
The course takes an experimental, interdisciplinary approach: students explore UX design, creative coding, AI, ethnographic research, digital sociology, and physical prototyping to learn how to design interfaces, smart devices, and service systems through social, environmental, and ethical lenses. Learning is project-based and closely connected to industry, offering students hands-on experience with today’s design challenges.
Set in Turin — a city with a strong industrial and technological identity — the program prepares future professionals to lead sustainable innovation in fields such as IoT, edtech, mobility, service design, and digital products.
