Akasaki Vanhuyse is a London-based design studio established in 2022 by Japanese architect/designer Kenta Akasaki and French designer Astrid Vanhuyse. Merging perspectives of architecture and industrial design, they work on a variety of projects including innovation, product, furniture, space and research. They focus on purpose-driven projects creating thoughtful, creative and long-lasting solutions for clients like Ligne Roset, h concept, London Festival of Architecture, Panasonic, DAME and GoodHome. Recent works present furniture made from waste materials, public pavilions, future vision projects, curation for a pre-owned design boutique and sustainable alternatives for products such as DIY tools, luggage and appliances.
