Established in 2006 by Zaha Hadid, ZHD operates under the lead of Co-Directors Woody Yao and Maha Kutay who ensure consistency with the Founder’s ethos by continuing to coherently translate and apply Hadid’s methodological approach to any new design.
Experimenting, testing and implementing the latest technological and material advancements, ZHD’s portfolio is built on over 40 years of research expressed at different scales and typologies encompassing lighting, furniture, fashion accessories, jewellery, interiors, exhibitions, set-design and public art.
In addition to a number of different designs and collections produced under its own label, ZHD continues to successfully collaborate with some of the world’s most reputable brands, creatives and design professionals to conceive and develop limited-edition pieces and ad-hoc commissions.
