22 november 2006 – 03 december 2006 cite du saint-etienne, france for the first time, the designboom mart is  coming to europe. the design biennial in  saint etienne in france is world’s most impressive cultural-non profit-design show.

the designer matali crasset has selected work from  the four corners of the world for two exhibitions,  ‘cohabitations, vivre ensemble’, which turns the spotlight  on contemporary design and ‘demain c’est aujord’hui’,  about the prospective design research developed by  companies. a programme of additional themed exhibitions,  celebrations and fashion shows will add to the vibrant mix.

seminars, training sessions and workshops will be organized.  exhibitions held in shops and commercial premises will allow  the biennial to extend into the town centre.  particular times are allocated to each sector: over the thirteen  days of the event, the first three will be open exclusively to  professionals, journalists, students and economic operators,  before opening to the general public.  five days will be devoted to school groups and their teachers.
