from september 3rd – 4th, deals website bespokeoffers teamed up with culinary creative duo bompas & parr to create the longest tasting menu ever attempted. ‘the 200 club’, which took place in a converted warehouse in south london, offered 200 separate courses served on average every 7 minutes and 14 seconds over a 24-hour period.


during the 86,400 seconds of non-stop dining, the complex menu — which included solids, liquids, gases and plasmas — was served up by eight world class chefs who conjured up a bounty of tantalizing plates. alongside blue tortilla, swimmer crab, K-town fried chicken wing and blueberry sriracha, weird and wacky treats like bacon ice-cream, cherry & pink peppercorn jelly and coffee-compressed watermelon were served up to guests.

every two hours, meals underwent a color transformation. each of the 10 sittings took a different pantone theme. the coordinated feasts included a ‘yellow breakfast’, ‘purple tiffin’ and ‘orange drunchies’, in homage to the notoriously decadent emperor nero whose party trick was to serve his guests monochromatic feasts. the event concluded with a multi-hued final countdown, which comprised the best of the dishes served over the 24 hours period.
