2018 A' design awards & competition - last call for entries

every year, the A’ design awards & competition highlights the very pinnacle of design and architecture projects from across the globe. their aim is to not only recognize, relate and recommend for the very best, but also to raise international awareness of the creative field, the principles of good design, and to promote future benefits for the world. the selected creators – students or experienced practitioners – and their work – conceptual, prototyped or fully realized – are rewarded with many privileges including international press coverage, exhibitions and professional feedback.

to be in with a chance of receiving the highly distinguished honor, submit your designs for consideration here, prior to the deadline on february 28th 2018. the results of the 2018 A’ design awards & competition will be announced on april 15th 2018, with a special feature of selection winners on designboom.

the A’ design awards & competition is regarded as the largest of its kind, not only due to the number of applicants, but also thanks to its 100 and more different categories for submissions. this ensures that each entry is classified and judged within its most relevant creative field. the groupings reflect a high degree of diversity, including, and to just name a few: furniture, decorative items and homeware design; lighting products and projects design; architecture, building and structure design; interior space and exhibition design; packaging design; and vehicle, mobility and transportation design. the winning projects, and the individuals behind them, almost instantly become globally recognized for their excelling creativity. these recipients of the A’ design award receive a comprehensive winner’s kit which not only includes an extensive PR campaign, but also the prized trophy, good design mark, a feature in the annually-published yearbook, feedback notes from the jury, inclusion in the annual world design rankings, and an invitation to the gala-night which is an ideal networking event. the A’ design awards & competition winners are selected by a strong and comprehensive international jury, composed of design professionals, members of the press, and academics, who follow a fair award methodology. their diversity and arduous process ensures that each and every project receives full and honest consideration, including close voting, cross matching and preliminary checks. the platform truly prides itself on its fair ethical assessment method as it allows them to only reward the very best projects.
