25togo: dinosoap

the ‘dinosoap’ soaps by 25togo offer the experience of fossil excavation as a result of normal use

dinosoap‘, designed by taiwan-based studio 25togo, incorporates the experience of fossil excavation into daily washing, as soap bars whose outer layers dissolve with use to reveal the image of a dinosaur skeleton beneath. composed of apricot kernels and other natural ingredients, the soaps reveal their miniature fossils after two to three months of normal use.

prior to any use, the soap appears to be a rock

  • So cool 🙂 Especially for the kids. But there must be a typo in the descriprion: 2-3 months of normal use??? a soap bar does not even last that long and I’d ecpect the ‘fossils’ to appear after 2-3 days of use, not months.

  • Just saw this at an international design show in New York. It is so cool and fun to play with. I guess my baby will wash hands more with this soap!!!! Love it!

  • A piece literally of “love to rub” product. It will make our day with every single washing!!
