3D printed universal PET bottle screw tops combined for creating a vase
‘screw you’ is a collection of products reinterpreting the familiar PET bottle in unfamiliar ways.
making clever use of the universal PET bottle screw top, the ‘screw you vase’ transforms 12 single use PET bottles (0,5 l) you add yourself, into a beautiful vessel for your flowers that is made to last.
the system links multiple PET bottles to form a larger system
the vase rests on the three centre bottles which need to be the exact same height in order for it to stand upright. for easy filling, first fill all the bottles with water (half full is perfect) and then screw them into the connector one by one.
varied combinations of PET bottles complete the design
presented at dutch design week 2013, the ‘screw you’ collection is for sale at layers, a design label founded by studio david graas.
