a celebration of work in progress, the powdered pigments — considered the final step in finishing — are held in and around the uncoated artifact in transparent forms that represent handles, lids, and decorative features. the viewer is encouraged to imagine each hue upon the untouched vase, and come to their own conclusions on the potentials between object and color. ‘a matter of color’ is ongoing until july 31st, 2015.
