designed by the spanish achodoso estudio, this armchair belongs to the ‘in_tube’ collection. the piece is made of a metallic structure with a laminated wooden seating base. the studio has carried out a long research process for developing new methods on how to join the metallic tubes. as a result, they have developed the ‘in_tube’ technology which consists on making a partial cut at the outer side of the curve. that way the inner tube diameter is shown, allowing to insert a new tube with the same diameter.

thanks to this method, the studio has reached a result were the bond of curvy and straight lines is created without welding, adding a new value to the final product. another feature of this technology is that it allows the use of different colors in every single part of the armchair. another main strength is the armrest that serves both to hand the armchair from the table or to suspend bags, backpacks, and clothes from it.
