in order to combine the comfort and responsiveness of playing barefoot with the protection of a traditionally designed performance shoe, adidas has launched ‘samba primeknit’, the world’s first knitted football boot. the limited edition boots are the first to have an upper that is entirely knitted from heel-to-toe, providing a bespoke second-skin fit that retains the strength of a conventional pair of cleats. high levels of flexibility and comfort are provided via the one-piece knitted upper; the yarns used to construct ‘primeknit’ provide stability and strength equal to conventional boots. each yarn receives a high precision coating that guarantees water resistance even while playing on a wet pitch.

  • would be an awesome sneaker!

    donmatteo says:
  • Cool. About the first shoe from these companies that I like. I suck some of the color out so it didn’t look like an old knitters scraps.

Too bad Patagonia missed out on this idea. They have great shoes.

    JimCan says:
  • The design is sustainable but I guarantee the price will not match that ethos

    Scott says:
  • It looks very nice, but i’m concern about durability while kicking…

    Leo Muller says:
  • Adidas is on top of their game and way ahead of the competition. My first pair of soccer shoes was adidas, over 40 years ago. My son played in adidas throughout his “career”. Now my grand-son(5) just started to play soccer-you guessed right; in adidas boots. Three generations can’t be wrong-right?

    adolf witzeling says:
  • Update: after talking to my dad I’m proud to say that he too played adidas boots in the 60s-that would make us 4 generations of happy adidas users.

    adolf witzeling says:
  • Would be gangsta if they made these like the nike magista’s!!!!!!!
