established in 1999, singaporean furniture design company air division has 4 home-grown brands, specializing in bedroom, dining and living room: funktion – the affordable and quirky range, the clean but sophisticated air collection, royce – luxurious sofas and plank living – a warm solid wood furniture series.

seen at the IFFS singapore furniture fair 2010 – the ark table of the plank living collection. the table structure is derived from the construction of a traditional carpenter’s wooden work bench. it can be flat packed for transportation.

air division is one of the members of singapore mozaic – an initiative by singapore’s ministry of trade and industry – SFIC (singapore furniture industries council), that brings together localfurniture companies and brands in the aim to reach the broader global market.
