the lighting system celebrates minimalism

In the Twins project, a globe serves as the foundation for a lighting system’s sculpturalvisual design language. Designer Alexey Danilin sees the form as a symbol of our planet, sun, and human civilisation, utilizing each element in the lighting installation as an emblem for both the beginning and the end as they interlock. The lamps attach to one another with LED tape that is integrated into a hexagonal metal base, concealed beneath a matte globe. By hiding the driver in the ceiling, the design achieves a streamlined appearance, free from visual clutter. Adaptable and flexible, various arrangements can be explored with adjustable luminous flux force and color temperature to suit multiple functional and decorative scenarios.

alexey danilin ensures customizability with twin

The Twins collection can be adapted limitlessly into various forms of lamp configurations with its modular design — from a suspended lamp or a wall lamp to a broader lighting system. Utilizing a wifi light control system, designer Alexey Danilin ensures users can create diverse lighting scenarios tailored to different functions, with customizable decorative effects and color temperatures. Multiple lamps can be arranged so that some of those suspended at the top create a warm lighting atmosphere, while the lower lamps remain neutral for optimal lighting for productivity. The length of the wires can also be adjusted to suit each distinct interior and luminaire function. The Twins project was recently recognized with a Red Dot concept award.
