a collection of variously sized paper houses divide the vast spatial environment into rooms and alleys, creating a village-like atmosphere within the museum. masses of delicate paper layer and texturize the space, defining viewpoints and framing select objects that are housed within the units. artwork hangs on the walls filling the negative space between the houses and connecting them to their larger environmental context. the structures, constructed out of long sheets of white paper hung over simple steel frames, signify the tectonic similarities existent within the two cultures.
