design is destined to shape our lives. architecture, communication, fashion,
interiors, products and robotics all stem from this field, all of which affect the way we live. from goods that have already gone into production, to forthcoming prototypes, to influential art projects – these things improve our ability to take action, create superior business models, raise societal issues, set about solving problems and fulfill the rich potentiality of living. this is all brought together in ‘any tokyo‘, an event presented during tokyo designers week which brings together applied design ideas and concepts under one roof. lead by tokyo-based art director arata murayama – responsible for creating the visual identity of ‘any tokyo’ – the program stands as a means of forming relationships across multiple disciplines.

daniel widrig resents a collection of laser-sintered, custom-made objects which merge notions of architecture, jewelry and fashion design. the intricate geometries, generated by tracing multiple paths around a fashion model’s body scan, were conceived and materialized in one seamless digital process.
