by drawing the wood away from the wall in elegant curves, ‘app’ by mati for incipit design brings to mind the form of seagulls soaring afar over crested waves.  the piece expands as it grows further away from the wall, assuming the undulating shape of an outstretched wing.  while conveying a natural aesthetic, the work achieves a high degree of functionality via a hook affixed to the base.

a side perspective reveals the gentle curvature which resemble the leading edge of a seagull’s wings.

its elegant form is well suited to any setting.
