in collaboration with sphinx, aqua creations has created a custom made center piece that emerges from the ceiling giving the space in which it is installed a contemporary feel. presented at designers’ saturday 2012, the inverted pyramid is composed of a framework of metal bars arranged to form 28 triangles – the faceted sides of the lighting piece – which come in 14 variations, all enclosed by silk giving it a soft, cool glow.
