from may 15-17th, 2013, aqua creations exhibits their massive light sculpture ‘pyramid’ at the HD expo in las vegas. created by albi serfaty and benad dar, the large illuminated work, further explores the studio’s use of silk in their design developments . the hanging lamp is composed of a network of triangular frames each covered in the lustrous textile which offers an added visual dynamism through its loose pleats, causing a gradient of warm tones to be emitted.
