asus launches bamboo laptop

asus 12" bamboo laptop

computer company asus launched its bamboo laptop last saturday in taipei as part of taiwan’s IT month exhibition. the laptop that was first announced last year as a prototype has now gone into production. the shell of the laptop is made of real bamboo and is part of asus’s efforts to use renewable materials in products. it will retail for approximately 1800 US dollars.
