the company spengler, who invented the blood pressure monitor in 1907, has entrusted the french design studio, atelier 360, with the task of re-inventing this essential doctor’s accessory. the design of ‘mobi’ utilizes generous forms to result in a product that is easy to use. for more legibility, the dial is completely redesigned, yet still uses the signature spengler needle.

the casing has been designed by atelier 360 using multiple layers that protects the mechanism against impact. the inflation pear has been shaped to suit all hands and achieve unique ergonomics, while the wheel, inspired by precision instruments, brings great sensitivity to use. the revolutionary element of the ‘mobi’ however, is the patented cable. ‘the measurement of tension is often approximate because the cuff used is not always the right size. we worked for two years to develop with spengler teams, a revolutionary tubular that allows to connect armband and blood pressure monitor in no time. thus the most legitimate brand in this market brings a major advantage to all users.’ patrick jouffret, atelier 360 founder comments.
