designed by avihai shurin for monkey business, the ‘splash squeegee’ was derived from the shape of a whale’s tail. the main concept was to link the playful cleaning device to water, as it easily wipes splashes from windows and glass doors. a pilot study was undertaken that involved research about whales, the characteristics of different species and their tails. a central feature of the product is its ability to stand upside down on the base of its handle when not in use. a weight has been added to the handle to maintain the overall aesthetic of the whale tale, while offering a solid and sturdy feel to the product. the ‘splash squeegee’ is a available in both blue and grey.
